CO-MANAGEMENT

As an entrepreneur you dedicate your lifeblood and passion to your inventions and innovations, your product and what you have created or intend to create. In small and medium-sized companies, the proprietors or owner-managing directors are usually closely involved in overseeing business operations. Things such as finances, liquidity planning, sales, process optimisation, employee management and promotion and the question of whether a product is even generating the desired profit often take a back seat. Customer satisfaction, delivery performance and quality have top priority – expected behaviour that can usually distinguish a company and enable it to forge ahead from competitors. It is obvious that management tasks quickly drop to the bottom of the to-do list. It can thus easily happen that other aspects spiral out of control but once this is finally noticed it is usually too late and a correction / change of course is difficult or no longer possible.
It is precisely these important and valuable management tasks that co-managers take on and thus cover for the proprietor or owners.

These can be tasks such as monitoring processes and machines, optimizing or improving workflows, optimizing logistics, conducting employee performance reviews, preparing and following up customer projects and tasks and complying with deadlines, developing or checking calculations, preparing and presenting a strategy day or chairing a team meeting, planning or even conducting quality or supplier/customer audits.
